EDIT:: Well now I look stupid ....
Via Jeff Jerome: To clarify something...the Poe House in Baltimore DID NOT close because of lack of funding. The Poe House had almost $370,000 in its fundraising account. The City officials CHOSE NOT to run the Poe House. With that amount of money the Poe House could have stayed open for another 4 years. You can talk about raising money all you want but it won't do any good. We don't have problems with the neighborhood. Sorry to disappoint many of you. We've had problems with TOURISTS vandalizing the interior of the Poe House. If you don't know what you are talking about then keep quiet.
So I have no Idea what I'm doing but this is something that must be done, the Poe house in Baltimore is falling apart, they need $85,000 to get the poor thing up and running as a museum again, I know a lot of you on here are artists, my thought is to get a kick start up and going maybe auction off some original "poe inspired art" like I said I'm not sure how to do all this, but I can not stand by and let this historical landmark die... please share your thoughts
